He has an extensive finance career spanning over two decades in strategic corporate financial management with outstanding business acumen and a passion for driving profitable growth through strong business partnering and a core focus on strategic leadership, operational and commercial excellence, FP&A, data analytics, M&A, working capital & cash flow management, fundraising, investor relations, and exit strategies among others.

Juan has a comprehensive background, including 7+ years as CFO, directing all-controlling, finance, risk mgmt., treasury, tax, IR, legal, HR, IT and facilities functions at fast growing global companies. Throughout his career, Juan has led successful business turnarounds, scale-ups, fundraising, and merger & acquisitions (spanning from startups to fortune 500, both public and private, as well as VC and PE backed) across different industries including life sciences-pharma/biotech, AI, consumer products, SaaS, renewable energy, dental services, commercial construction, distribution-project management, professional services, lighting, specialty chemicals, semiconductors as well as R&D and manufacturing among others.

Juan holds a Global MBA with a concentration in Finance from Suffolk University in Boston, MA, and a Master’s of Science in Economics from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Colombia. He also earned the “Business Excellence” Certification by graduating from the Chief Financial Officer Executive Program at Columbia Business School in New York, NY.
